อุทยานแห่งชาติดอยอินทนนท์ ประกาศเป็นอุทยานฯ เมื่อ พ.ศ.2515 ประกาศเป็นอุทยานฯ เป็นลำดับที่ 6 ของประเทศไทย มีพื้นที่ 482.4 ตารางกิโลเมตร ครอบคลุมพื้นที่ในเขตอำเภอจอมทอง อำเภอแม่แจ่มอำเภอแม่วาง และกิ่งอำเภอดอยหล่อ จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ ดอยอินทนนท์แต่เดิมดอยนี้มีชื่อว่า “ดอยหลวง” หรือ “ดอยอ่างกา” ดอยหลวง มาจากขนาดของดอยที่ใหญ่มาก ชาวบ้านจึงเรียกกันว่า “ดอยหลวง”
กลุ่มน้ำตกแม่ปาน
ประกอบด้วยน้ำตก 7 แห่ง ได้แก่ น้ำตกแม่ปาน น้ำตกออบน้อย น้ำตกผาสำราญ น้ำตกสองพี่น้อง น้ำตกธารทอง น้ำตกแท่นพระสังข์ และน้ำตกห้วยทรายเหลือง อยู่ห่างจากที่ทำการอุทยานแห่งชาติ (กม.31) ไปตามถนนสายจอมทอง-ดอยอินทนนท์ ไปยังด่านตรวจที่ 2 (กม.38) แยกซ้ายไปทางอำเภอแม่แจ่มประมาณ 6 กิโลเมตร มีทางแยกขวาเข้าไปหน่วยพิทักษ์อุทยานแห่งชาติที่ อน.2 (แม่แจ่ม) ประมาณ 2 กิโลเมตร ซึ่งทางอุทยานแห่งชาติได้จัดเส้นทางศึกษาธรรมชาติผาสำราญ (น้ำตกแม่ปาน-ห้วยทรายเหลือง)

The ceasefire announcement also follows months of what is widely regarded as a successful police crackdown against ETA operatives in Spain and also in ETA’s hideouts in neighboring France and Portugal. หาดทรายขาว เป็นหาดที่มีระยะทางยาว 6 กม. มีบังกะโลตั้งอยู่หลายแห่ง มีถนนรอบเกาะตัดชิดหาดมากที่สุด สามารถเล่นน้ำได้ แต่บางช่วงของหาดจะต่างระดับ ลึกตื้นไม่เท่ากัน เลียบชายหาดมี โรงแรม รีสอร์ท ร้านค้า ร้านอาหาร ตั้งอยู่เรียงรายมากมาย ดูเหมือนว่าบริเวณนี้จะมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกมากกว่าบริเวณอื่นๆ

Mr Carter met senior North Korean officials after arriving in Pyongyang on Wednesday on what was described as “a private humanitarian trip”.

Six-nation talks aimed at ending North Korea’s nuclear ambitions have been stalled for several months.
